KNG Securities appoints EM credit expert Halila Mazin to Fixed Income Sales

We are delighted to announce that we have appointed EM debt expert, Halila Mazin, to
Fixed Income Sales within our Credit Trading Team.

The hire comes as we continue to deliver on our strategy of expansion in Emerging Markets,
high-yield and distressed debt.

Halila Mazin joins the firm with over 20 years of experience in credit sales. He previously
worked for 15 years at Barclays Capital, the investment banking arm of Barclays, as Sales
focused on credit markets. Halila’s experience in sales of high-yield corporate and emerging
market credits will be strategically important to our growth.

The appointment of Halila follows the recent hire of Turkish fixed income expert Cagri
Kutman, CIS specialist Igor Nartov and LATAM veteran Christian Laloe, further broadening
our expertise in Emerging Markets. This also follows the recent hire of Ex-Goldman Sachs
distressed debt analyst Andrew Lee to our Distressed Credit team.

Appointing Halila further enhances our team’s specialization in both developed and
emerging market high-yield credits. His longstanding relationships within the fixed income
investment community will be a significant addition to our firm, further expanding KNG’s
franchise and our ability to provide investment solutions to our clients.
