David Floyd's extensive corporate finance experience includes earning fees from just under 100 takeovers, about half of which were subject to the Takeover Code, 39 new issues of securities and a large number of other assignments such as capital reconstructions, debt advisory services, introductions to Listing and to AIM, successful rescue operations and defences of hostile takeover attempts. After qualifying as a Chartered Accountant with Hodgson Harris David Floyd has been working in corporate finance since 1983, as an Executive at Hambros Bank Ltd and as a director of subsequent employers. He led corporate finance transactions for both Dawnay Day and its clients between January 1993 and Dawnay Day's demise in July 2008. Since then he has played a leading role as a member of Fairfax's corporate finance team. Most of David's recent transactions were in the M&A category; others included debt advice, reconstructions and listed securities issues. Following Fairfax's demise (5 Dec 2012), David has been working on a freelance basis and, working with Libertas, advised Inland Homes PLC on the successful placing and standard listing of ZDP Shares in December 2012 with a further issue in January 2013 and became a Registered Representative of KNG Securities LLP in May 2013.
